Christmas Movies

What would Christmas be without the comfort of a really good Christmas movie?  Occasionally the film studios time it perfectly and give us a really good Christmas movie in time for Christmas, as in 2003 when ‘Love Actually’ hit the cinema screens in late November just in time for the Christmas season and immediately became a seasonal favourite.

Usually, however, we return to our old favourites which are often shown on TV during the Christmas season and many of us have them in our Video and DVD collections.  There are few things more enjoyable than curling up on the sofa, after a good dinner, and enjoying one of the old Christmas movies.  Below is a list of some old favourite Christmas movies which always go down well during the festive season.

White Christmas (1954)

It’s a Wonderful Life (1946)

Love Actually (2003)

In the Bleak Midwinter (1995)

The Bishop’s Wife (1947)
